This is a beautiful route along some of the best roads within Exmoor National Park. The start point is easily reached from the major towns and cities in the area. Taunton, Exeter and Barnstaple are just 45 minutes away. Some of the lanes are very narrow and can have loose gravel on them, there is a river to cross via a ford at (RP) 14 and Porlock Hill to climb which is the steepest 'A' road in the whole of the United Kingdom at 25% or 1-4 with 2 hairpin bends on the steepest section. I would suggest that inexperienced motorcycle riders should take care. This route has plenty of stunning views to see along the way as well as great roads to ride. I live in this area so I have made this route to show the best roads and scenery that Exmoor has to offer.
